DSP II - Corporate Location

Direct care assisting adults with developmental disabilities. Includes personal care, training of basic work skills and transportation. No nights/holidays/weekends.

 

Responsibilities include assisting adults with developmental disabilities including personal care, training of basic work skills and transportation. Experience and/or knowledge of working with adults who have disabilities. This position requires above average communication and people skills, ability to work independently and meet the physical demands of the job. High school diploma or equivalent and background check required. Valid MN Driver's license with good driving record required. No nights/weekends/holidays.

Designated Coordinator

CVS has an opening for a Designated Coordinator at our Austin division. The Designated Coordinator is responsible for the development of individual service plans based on person centered planning; coordinating this plan with other staff and support team members. Caseload is comprised of DTH and EE participants and may also include STW students and seniors. Will assure quality programming which meets DHS licensing requirements and other applicable regulations. Provides direction and support for direct care staff both in the facility and in the community.

 

Qualifications include:

* Bachelor Degree in Human Services related field and one year of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities; OR

* A.A. Degree in Human Services related field and two years of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities; OR

* Diploma in Human Services related field from an accredited postsecondary institution and three years of full-time experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities; OR

* Minimum of 50 hours of education and training related to human services and disabilities; AND

* Four years of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities under the supervision of a staff person who meets one of the first three qualifications.

DSP II - Full time and Part time positions available. Monday - Friday, day shift.

Responsibilities include assisting adults with developmental disabilities including personal care, training of basic work skills and transportation. Experience and/or knowledge of working with adults who have disabilities. This position requires above average communication and people skills, ability to work independently and meet the physical demands of the job. High school diploma or equivalent and background check required. No nights/weekends/holidays. Valid MN Driver's license with good driving record required. Eligible for paid sick/vacation/holidays and 401k.

Waseca

Part time SMART driver

Responsibilities include transporting the public, following a set schedule, and maintaining vehicle reports. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, good driving record, above average communication and people skills, and the ability to work independently and meet the physical demands of the job. Must have or obtain a Class C CDL and pass all necessary MnDOT testing and requirements.

All positions require background check with MN Department of Human Services, employment physical, valid MN driver’s license, acceptable driving record and valid vehicle insurance. Requires excellent communication skills, the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment and meet the physical demands of the job, including the ability to lift 40-pounds. Unless noted above, all positions require a high school diploma or equivalent. Experience working with adults with disabilities a plus.

Owatonna

Responsibilities include assisting adults with developmental disabilities including personal care, training of basic work skills and transportation. High school diploma/GED and experience and/or knowledge of working with adults who have disabilities is preferred. This position requires above average communication and people skills, ability to work independently and meet the physical demands of the job. Valid MN Driver's license with good driving record required.

Residential Assistant

Cedar Valley Services in Owatonna is seeking a full time Residential Assistant to work evenings, overnights and weekends. Responsibilities include assisting developmentally disabled adults living in a residential setting. This position requires above average communication and people skills, ability to work independently as well as in a team environment and meet the physical demands of the job. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent. Must possess a valid Minnesota driver's license and a good driving record. Prefer experience in working with adults with developmental disabilities.
