Direct care assisting adults with developmental disabilities. Includes personal care, training of basic work skills and transportation. No nights/holidays/weekends.

 

Responsibilities include assisting adults with developmental disabilities including personal care, training of basic work skills and transportation. Experience and/or knowledge of working with adults who have disabilities. This position requires above average communication and people skills, ability to work independently and meet the physical demands of the job. High school diploma or equivalent and background check required. Valid MN Driver's license with good driving record required. No nights/weekends/holidays.

DSP II - Full time and Part time positions available. Monday - Friday, day shift.

Responsibilities include assisting adults with developmental disabilities including personal care, training of basic work skills and transportation. Experience and/or knowledge of working with adults who have disabilities. This position requires above average communication and people skills, ability to work independently and meet the physical demands of the job. High school diploma or equivalent and background check required. No nights/weekends/holidays. Valid MN Driver's license with good driving record required. Eligible for paid sick/vacation/holidays and 401k.

All positions require background check with MN Department of Human Services, employment physical, valid MN driver’s license, acceptable driving record and valid vehicle insurance. Requires excellent communication skills, the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment and meet the physical demands of the job, including the ability to lift 40-pounds. Unless noted above, all positions require a high school diploma or equivalent. Experience working with adults with disabilities a plus.

Owatonna

Part Time SMART Transit Driver

Cedar Valley Services is hiring a part-time Transit Driver for Owatonna. Responsibilities include transporting the public, following a set schedule, and maintaining vehicle reports. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, good driving record, above average communication and people skills, and the ability to work independently and meet the physical demands of the job. Must have or obtain a Class C CDL and pass all necessary MnDOT testing and requirements.

SMART Transit Operations Manager

This position will manage all daily operations of SMART Transit in Mower and Freeborn counties, including staff management, customer service, special projects and general operations. Duties include RouteMatch training and issues, staff support and mentoring, scheduling of drivers and dispatchers, evaluate/coordinate all transit routes and promote transit service through public relations as needed. This position requires above average communication, organizational and management skills. Requires great attention to detail and high degree of accuracy. Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing with both internal and external customers, and meet the physical demands of the job. Valid MN Driver's license with good driving record required. High school diploma required, a minimum of 2 years transit operations and supervisory experience preferred. Must obtain class C driving license. Subject to random drug testing.

Job Coach

Responsibilities include vocational and personal training to employees with developmental disabilities, maintain daily attendance records, and maintain equipment and inventories.  This position requires excellent communication and people skills, ability to work independently as well as in a team environment and meet the physical demands of the job.  Previous supervisory experience a plus.  Other requirements include high school diploma or equivalent, acceptable driving record, and valid MN driver’s license.
